Guitarist Jake Langley has emerged as one his generation's most in demand guitarist. Originally from Toronto and then New York, Jake has been an in-demand sideman for many years. Jake held the guitar chair with the illustrious Joey Defrancesco Trio for five years, performing world wide and recording 3 award winning Cds on Concord Records. "Organic Vibes" featured Jazz legends George Coleman, and Bobby Hutcherson.

Jake Toured with Bobby "Blue" Bland when he was 18 years old and never looked back.  He has been a profesional guitarist since then, entrenching himself in his twenties as the top call session guitarist and jazz musician in toronto, playing on hundreds on Jingles, soundtracks, T.V. shows and albums.  He won Juno awards, Gemini awards and the presigious National Jazz award in 2004/2005.

Jake moved to New York in 2003 and toured with Joey Defranceso, as well as doing sessions when he was not touring. He also performed with Musical Legends Roberta Flack, The Funk Brothers, David Clayton Thomas, Lyle Lovett, Willie Nelson, Asleep At The Wheel, K.D. Lange and many others. He made his way into Broadway playing in many shows such as The Color Purple, Mama Mia, Hair, Wickid, Chicago and Jesus Christ Superstar, and 3 mo' Divas. He has performed with Chisten Chenowith, Idena Menzel, Bernadette Peters, and Joan Rivers.

In 2010 Jake opened his studio and music production facility Led Dillo and produces music for artists and T..V. comercials  Jake produced and performed and records by Dupree, Elias Haslinger, Kellye Grey, The Night Owls, the Bordertown Bootleggers, Pinetop Perkins, Rick Trevino, Marcia Ball, Mike Schirmer, Candace Belamy and others. Commercial credits include, Gillette, Southwest Airlines, Texas Health, Specs, and others.

As a jazz guitarist , His fifth jazz organ trio CD "Here and Now" was released in 2009 features New York heavyweights Sam Yahel and Ian Froman. Jakes fourth CD with Joey Defrancesco and Byron Landham "Movin' and Groovin" (Alma Universal) was nominated for a Juno Award in Canada in 2007.  Also in that year, Jake was featured on Joey Defrancesco's  CDs "Organic Vibes" (Concord) with Bobby Hutcherson and "Authorized Bootlegs" with George Coleman (Concord). 

His Jazz credits read like a who's who with the likes of Jazz icons Bobby Hutcherson, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jimmy McGriff, Steve Gadd, Pat Labarbara, James Moody, Trudy Pitts, George Coleman, Houston Person, Pee Wee Ellis, Scott Hamilton, Garth Hudson, Ron Blake and Bill Cosby and others.  Jake's excells in genres outside of jazz including soul, funk, R&B, Rock and Pop as can be heard via his recordings with David Clayton Thomas "Aurora" (Justin Time) and with performing alongside artists Willie Nelson, Rufus Wainright, Bobby "Blue" Bland, and KD Lang.

Jake appears on the P.B.S. special and DVD "Legends of Jazz" and has performed on many national T.V. shows including the Songwriters Hall of fame.

He currently writes and produces music for film, T.V. and other media and for other recording artists at his Studio in his Studio Led Dillo.
